I have found the exporting 2D graphic> jpeg, leads to very anemic graphic quality. Lines get very thin and overall the image looks washed out.
So- I have taken to printing to pdf, and then exporting the pdf to jpeg. this has worked OK. the pdf looks great. The jpeg, however, although it retains good graphic and line quality, goes "yellowish". It's definitely noticeable.

Anyone have any suggestions on this? Or a way to export to jpeg with higher graphic quality. (yes, I have been pushing the sliders all the way to max quality).
Same thing occurs if I export the pdf to tiff as well.

      thanks.

I've never seen a color change between exports types before. As for image exports direct from SketchUp, I don't have any problem. I usually make PNGs instead of JPGs to avoid compression artifacts.

What textures/materials do you have in the model? Maybe there is a color lookup change happening between the PDF and jpg that is making some material look more yellow?

To answer your second question, no, jpg does not always look good to me. In particular, unless I have profiles set to 1 they come out very heavy in the jpg. Like Dave, unless I know the recipient can only handle jpg, I prefer png, uncompressed tiff, or PDF.
