[REQ] copy paste camera
-
I'm in need of a way to copy a scene/camera in one instance of SU and open another instance and paste it.
All I need is the camera location in the least however if the shadow/sun info can also be copied it would be a bonus.
Anything like this available or possible to achieve?

Have you seen this
I have it installed and it seems to export cameras but not import them.
Thus a simple right click from one scene and paste in a new instance would be nice if possible. The thing is I need to set up over 200 scenes for separate products which makes a copy paste method so much more convenient if possible.

Solo,
You could try the Camera Memory by Eneroth3. Simple but terribly efficient. It is in the PluginStore.

Awesome, just what I needed.
Thanks.

Solo,
By the way, it is possible to build a plugin that would take the scenes from one skp model and transfer them to another skp. This may be easier if you have 200 views! Maybe this has been done already.

Rick Wilson has something at Smustard.com [$5?] BUT I think that always uses inches...
[But I use my own 'fixed' version]

BUT 'inches' might not be an issue for you US-dino's ? -

Actually all the models are separate skp's so I want to render them all from the same view, so it is not 200 views, 200 models with one view needed, your last suggestion works like a gem as it's fast.

You can use Advanced Camera tools to copy and paste cameras.

Actually the correct protocol would be to create a template skp with the desired view.
Then use that template to create the model skps.
