I must be getting rusty in LO. How do you remove points editing a shape in LO? Can't find it in the help. (The Trimble help is notorious for having only snippets of information. Why not explain totally how to use a tool in one article?)

Don't you just move the point [vertex] over another one and snap to it.
They then merge and the original is in effect deleted ?

That's right! Thanks! A "-" sign appears when you do that, but I am pretty sure this wasn't working for me before I relaunched the app. I was hoping there was a way to select many points and erase (leaving a straight line to the remaining points. I guess at that point you just have to cut it out.

Peter, I just did this on my Mac with LO2014. I didn't have to do anything but move the point I wanted to eliminate to its neighbor. Are you not getting the same result?

Dave, Yes. As I wrote, it didn't seem to be working until I relaunched. And I was hoping there was a way to select a group of points and eliminate, as in some other applications. Thanks!
