For those looking for an alternative - Chuck Vali's 'Instant cladding' is pretty powerful. I use the whole 'Instant Architecture' package that includes everything. If your modeling houses, the $120/yr subscription will pay for itself on the first project (once you get good at using it). He also adds to the package and includes all the new plugins for free. In the past couple of years he's added, 'instant door and windows', 'instant stairs', and 'instant cladding', automatically and hasn't upped the price at all. And they are all indispensable to my workflow now. I should note that you need an internet connection to use them, not sure if he has a work around for that or not. But, I highly recommend for professionals. (valiarchitects.com)

If you read the author's comments, the reason it is no longer available is because he was unjustly accused of copyright infringement. I'm sure it isn't worth his time or money to fight that accusation for an extension he's giving away for free. I'd be surprised if any of the other Ruby gurus would want to do that either.

Hi Dave. Yes I am aware of that issue. However I couldn't find what exactly caused the infringement. Is it the code used? Or the method of solving or the UI? Because without knowing what exactly caused the infringement, how can a work around be found? I am no plugin developer nor code writer, so maybe what I said is just utter nonsense.
