[Plugin] FloorGenerator ( Updated 6-Apr-2017)

How sad that this plugin can no longer be downloaded.
Does anyone have an alternative plugin that can do the same thing?
Or can I find the floorgenerator in another way?

Something similar, but different in a number of ways at the same time:

OOB LAYOUTS

The unfortunate thing is sdmitch has always been helpful with plugins / extensions, this incident has triggered something and the subsequent cause (I believe) of him "hanging up his coding gloves".

Is it possible to 3D print the house, when this plugin was used?

I have no experience with 3D printing, so unfortunately cannot help / comment in this regard.

If you read this thread you'll see the extension is no longer available. You'll need to find an alternative method now.

For those looking for an alternative - Chuck Vali's 'Instant cladding' is pretty powerful. I use the whole 'Instant Architecture' package that includes everything. If your modeling houses, the $120/yr subscription will pay for itself on the first project (once you get good at using it). He also adds to the package and includes all the new plugins for free. In the past couple of years he's added, 'instant door and windows', 'instant stairs', and 'instant cladding', automatically and hasn't upped the price at all. And they are all indispensable to my workflow now. I should note that you need an internet connection to use them, not sure if he has a work around for that or not. But, I highly recommend for professionals. (valiarchitects.com)
