      Hello,

I'm just sorting out all my plugins as I'm upgrading to SU14 from SU 8. I have a plugin in SU 8 called trilateration, which was available through the DRAW menu (Mac) but I can;t find this in the Sketchcation plugin store or the extension warehouse.

Does anyone know where I can find this invaluable tool please? πŸ˜„ Thanks,

          Hi Rich,

Thanks, I did see that when I searched but thought I was supposed to load plugins via Ext warehouse or PlugIn store. Presumably I just put it in the plugins folder as before? All the best, Sally

I've copied it from my SU 8 and pasted it into the plugins folder, but it doesn't show in the draw menu. It does show in Sketcucation plugins manager. Have I loaded it incorrectly, or maybe it's not SU14 compatible?

I'll try installing it later. Should be where it says it goes.

Does it show up when you try and assign a shortcut key in Preferences?

It is NOT v2014 compatible. 😞

Edit the .rb file with Notepad++.exe or an equivalent Plain-Text editor like TextWrangler [MAC] or Notepad++.exe [PC].
                At the end it says:
                .unpack("m")**.to_s**
                Change it to read:
                .unpack("m")**[0]**
It will now load for all SketchUp versions - unless there are other underlying syntax issues which are not obvious because the code has been 'packed' - in which case something else will break...
Often you can fix a Didier-packed script with this simple edit... but only a real try will confirm/deny that... πŸ˜•

Didier really needs to fix many of his scripts to be compatible with v2014... πŸ˜’
