Reminds me of a 3D animation I saw years ago where an alien plant hurls a seed into space. The seed finds another planet and starts the cycle over again. I tried to find it without any luck.

that probably already happens anyway.. though maybe in a more boring / less storied fashioned..

planet with plants freezes.. drifts into another object.. breaks into a bunch of pieces.. those pieces become asteroids/comets to other planets.. species -or- basis of species is transferred.
(+ thousands of other scenarios in which the gist of that could occur)

The birds have been doing this in my yard for years ๐Ÿ’š

I take the slow, deliberate approach in my aimless wandering.

When I opened that article my eyes automatically flicked to the date area - 'cause this would (normally) be prime April 1st territory.

Weirdly, when I stayed in rural France a good few years back Cannabis plants were widespread in the hedgerows.
It seems the local hippy commune had spent some weeks driving around throwing paper bags of soil and seeds into the roadside areas In order to give them an untraceable supply

Not that I would of course condone any such criminal behavior
