Is there an extrude line plugin that works in 2014? The last couple I've tried to seem to be compatible.

In TIG's Extrusion Tools there is Extrude Edge by Vector

Didier's original Extrude line plugin is available in the plugin store, Tig has Tig'd it to work in 2014.

Exactly what I needed Box, thanks! I like the simplicity of Didier's plugin a bit better (no dialogs breaking up my flow). With TIG's suggestion on how to get it to work in 2014 everything is right with the world again. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

A link to TIG's post for posterity.

I'm glad you got it working, but it should be noted that you don't need to 'Fix it' to work in 2014, Tig has already done that and loaded it into the Plugin store. By downloading the latest version you get the fixed version.

Thanks. I probably need to download the plugin store again. I'd thought the integrated extension warehouse would replace it but there seems to be an awful lot that isn't on there (and the search function seems to be quite bad).

I would recommend installing the PluginStore Toolset as it offers far more that letting you AutoInstall hundreds of tools that are not [and may never be] in the EWH [like all of mine!] - e.g. unlike the native Installer you can choose to AutoInstall into the default Plugins folder or a custom-folder [e.g. if you have one setup using say Fredo's AdditionPluginsFolder tool], you can use the dialog's MySetup page to see your Downloaded and Installed Plugins, see available any Updates and AutoInstall them [including an en mass option] and use the new Bundles features to make Bundle-sets to sync your Plugins across your SketchUp versions and Computers [again with a 'bulk' AutoInstall feature], and you can also Manage Extensions and Plugins, using Sets, or Uninstall Plugins, it can also AutoInstall from RBZ and ZIP Archives into the default Plugins folder or a custom-folder etc, and it can open your Plugins folder with a single click... and coming soon 'MyShortcuts' dialog...
It is now v2.6.0 - which gives x4 speed improvements in Plugin download and AutoInstall - making bulk updates and syncing relatively painless πŸ˜„

I used it previously in SU8 and was quite happy with it. I just assumed the whole point of the extension warehouse was to replace it. Out of curiosity, why are your plugins not available there?

A longstanding private falling out with 'Trimble' about them planning their EWH based on the previously discussed SCF model...
