Hi everyone, I have a few problems, I use sketchup to design and then I export on OBJ file to 3Dcrafter to convert in a file for train simulator 2014.

But I find out after exporting some part are blank and not texture but in sketchup totally fine

I guess it is a problem during the design but wich one ?

    Thanks for your help

Without seeing the model it is difficult to say for sure. My guess, though, is that those faces that don't show are reversed. If that is the case, correct the face orientation so all exposed faces are front faces and try your export again.

        I concur [with Dave].
View your model in Monochrome mode with a Style that uses a distinctive rear-face color - say Magenta.
You'll see that the faces that fail to render are backwards.
Most renderers will only render the front face and often use black, white or even transparent colors for the 'back faces', which of course you should never see...

Simply context-menu [shortcut?] reversing the incorrect faces might fix it, but the materials might not be on the now-correctly-oriented front ?
        My FixReverseFaceMaterials does this...
If it finds a face with a material on its back and not its front it reverses the face and swaps the materials round [keeping any UV-mapping of textures etc, so what was the back is not the front and it has the same material applied. It works in batch mode...
Easier that redrawing, but not easier than modeling it the right way round initially.
When you are modeling it's a good idea to toggle in and out of Monochrome mode... and fix any reversed faces as they crop up...
