This was this morning at the front doors of the building I work in. It rained so hard the storm sewers were overwhelmed. almost 2 inches in less than an hour. A little west of use they got over 3 inches in the same time frame. The water was coming in pretty fast and flooding the lower floor which is where my shop is. Although close to where the water was coming down, we only had a little bit creep in under the door. But what a mess where there was flooding. Fortunately it'll be cleaned up in short order.

That's a serious amount of rain to fall in such a short time. Rainforest proportions.

I presume u got the day off?

Nope. No day off for me. Pretty much business as usual in surgery so so business as usual for me, too. It was tricky to get to some places I needed to go because some elevators were out of service so the others were much busier and the main route between buildings was closed. Other than that, no major disruption for us. Well before 11:00 the sky was clear and it was beautiful outside.

I think some people did do that Eric.

By 6:00 tomorrow morning you won't be able to tell any of the building was flooded. All the sheet rock and vinyl wall covering will be replaced as will the carpet and furniture.

And we (Irish) are getting what could be described as a Summer! The farmers could well be complaining soon that water is running short!

The weather is very mixed up ..... Global Warming!

And I thought we had it bad here in West Central Wi. It was nothing compared to that.
