      hello ,
      maybe someone can help:

i crated a net with "sope & bubble" ruby

in skp 8 two things don't work

      a. with quadface-tools i cannot select 1 contiuous line in 1 direction ( _____+)

      b. does anybody know a ruby, which would make all edges of this net to tubes (like "tube along path , means with radius and / or form-selection", but ALL edges in BOTH directions?

      thanx in advance for ideas

      stan

I don't have quadface-tools so i don't know. For the tubes you can try this plugin.

You could use TIG's Extrude Edges by Rails to Lattice in his Extrusion Tools set to make the grid and get quads instead of triangles. Then you could use his Extrude Edges by Face in the same set to make the tubes.

QuadFace Tools require the mesh to be compatible. The diagonals needs to be set to not cast any shadows - then QT will recognize them as diagonals.
