Sketchup crashing after creating material
-
Hi,
Hope you can help.
I have been using Sketchup for a few months and everything has been running fine. I have built and textured a model without any problems and I am now dabbling in rendering and lighting.
The problem is, just lately, whenever I create a new material within my scene Sketchup crashes. If I start Sketchup without loading my scene and create a new material everything is fine.
Could it be that something within my scene is stopping me from creating a new material? is there a limit on materials? Could having too many unique textures be a problem?Cheers,

Have you recently installed a Build-Edge walling/roofing plugin? I had exactly the same problem; and that seemed to be the problem. All custom materials created before the plugin were fine, but SU crashed every time I tried to apply any created after I installed the trial.
Apparently, it's got something against Scousers.

Hi Alan,
Thanks for your >ahem.< 'reply'
(isn't it impossible to have anything against scousers?)Anyway, nah, not got the Build-Edge plugin. However, Sketchup is loading with two renderers, could this have something to do with it? How do I stop the renderers from loading with Sketchup?
Regards,

Try using the Plugin/Extension Manager to disable them.
