Adding plugins (finding the icon once the plugin is added)
-
Hi all.
My second post, and my second help request - thank you.
I have downloaded and installed a plugin called "find centre point" by S D Mitch.
The plugins manager shows that I have indeed installed and enabled it.
I have opened the "customise toolbar" option.
I cannot see any new icon for the new feature.Am I missing something obvious, please?
I am sorry if this is a "time-waster" question.
Thank you very much for your advice.

Hi, "SMP":
I don't have this particular tool, but did you check under View>Toolbars and find it in the list? Or could it be a right click context command after selection? -
I did a search of SDMitch's plugins here but didn't find one called "find centre point." Are you sure it even has a toolbar?
-
Yes, I know "center point" by T. Burch and "centerPointAll" by TIG, but both of them don't have a toolbar. Where you downloaded your plugin from, Matthew?
-
Ok, found this one called "AddCtrPoint" by sdmitch (is it the right one?), but it seems to have no toolbar.

If it is the plugin that Massimo points to, you really ought to watch the tutorial. You'll see it is accessed through the Plugins menu. No toolbar included, nor needed.
