I'm new to Sketchup. I work on a Mac (only two months old) and I cannot open attachments sent to me from windows machines. What am I doing wrong? I'm working on a group architecture project at school and I can't review the other groups sketch ups unless they put it on a flash drive. The attachments have ".skb" i.d.s thanks if you can help!

I'm guessing that the sender attached the wrong file and sent skb which I think is the backup file version...you want skp ...and your mac hasn't associated the backup file with SU

Yes. the SKB file is a backup file. You can just rename it if you want to SKP and then it'll open if it won't as SKB. Anyone telling you it's because you're on a Mac should be ignored.

Yep, the "nitwit" [on this occasion at least] is NOT you πŸ˜„
It is the guy who is ending you the SKB files rather than the SKP files !
