45 degree angle on a trim board

Sometimes it is best to think about how you would do things in real life. To this end I made a mitre box. Although it's really only a bit of a joke, it is fully functional.
Simply pop your wood in, adjust the saw to the correct angle, and use Intersect faces to create the cut you want. It won't fall off on your foot, you'll have to delete the bits you don't want, but it does create the "saw cut".The main thing is, it gives you a visual, and almost tactile, reference to the physical world which can help to bring your own physical skills into the virtual world.
Think of it as an analogue plugin.

(Maybe its the same solutions than Jean, I can't reload his version
With the V8 Pro you have also the solution of some boolean Diff operations!
your volumes must be "solids"So just put a "big box" at 45Β° of your volume and make your cut!
