Well Michael, please don't be too hard on your poor old blind Mom! I imagine 16 hours a day should be enough for her on the corner selling those pencils, she will need a few hours sleep

Is this offer good for members that have already signed up for SketchUcation Premium Membership?
And if so, where is the download located?
Thanks Mike
Mike, never mind. Seems today for some reason I wasn't log in when I stopped here. Everything is OK.
Ken
Yes, indeed Ken, the offer is there for existing Premium Members, like your good self, to pick up these goodies for free, worth in access of $80! Happy downloading

Downloaded and used most of the free stuff and some discounted items as well it's a great deal if you ask me.
-
My opinion is that the quality of the vast majority of these is so great, that even if paid for individually, they're a good offering, made by people who really know how to model and texture for SU and rendering. Thanks to all contributors!
I added some of Rich's watercolour trees to a WC of a little pool house I did. Mind you, I added in GIMP because the picture was already done. Those trees were a nice surprise.
-
Peter, is that water colour effect done all in post - or is it based on a style? I there is reflection in the water, which I assume is rendered. Is it a clay render, mixed with SU lines and then filled in with colour in post?
-
.... which ever it is, it's a clever way of presenting ...... cutting out segments!

Heh, all the above? I first did a straight SU, export lines and colors separately, use FotoSketcher (actually "Sketcher" on the Mac). and GIMP.
Then i wanted more so I rendered a simple scene in Kerky and used some Kerky water in the pool and then Sketcher and remixed back with the work I had done before. The background is a Sperical HDRI included in that run. Water was not good PR (too hard-line) but came out interesting with Sketcher.
So it was basically done in a non-landscaped style. I saw Rich's trees and exported png from the SU file to add to the finished picture in GIMP.
There's no special style, but it made me think I might try that FS HDRI as a watermark.
Some inspiration from DaveR's work. But no clay this time. Oh and Also Allan Casas' book ideas! I used a "splash" layer of wc colors from his book goodies.
If I had started knowing the eventual process, it probably would've taken little time. Most fiddling was softening the grass edges and blending the trees in
Thanks for the comments. Mike the cutting was probably to justify the lack of entourage, make it look more artsy instead of a completed picture.

It's early in the A.M. i admit, but where does a premium member go to download that trove of free downloads?
Gary Anderson

Gary, here is a link to a page where all freebies (either free for premium members or some for all members) and discounted commercial plugins (for premium members) are listed:
http://sketchucation.com/premium-servicesAlso, when you are logged in and browsing the shop, anywhere where you can only see a "Download" button (and no "Buy" button), it is a freebie for you:
http://sketchucation.com/shop -
This is all still included? Signing up now - please confirm
Ash
-
Yes and more is added to what's listed here.
Check the Premium Downloads link in the menu. That lists all the freebies
-
Does "before we go back to sanity" infer that I need to download all this stuff before you take it away again? Or do you suffer from the same kind of madness that I do - the irreversible kind - which would allow me to leave this stuff online and simply download it when I need it?
-
Its yours when you need it.
Sent from my iPad
-
Yep Ash, irreversible!
-
I must update the list as Rich and other shop owners have uploaded a lot more free content for Premium Members.
-
Mike, thank you and all the moderators, developers, programmers, and artists of this site. With all I have benefited from this sites existence, I have truly become a SketchUp addict and evangelist. Keep up the good work! ALL those who have contributed to this site should be commended for keeping this website alive!

Thanks for your kind words Elibjr. These are always welcome and appreciated by all. However you have also become a Premium Member and this is truly appreciated as in your case actions speak louder than words.
Best regards,
Mike

Hello.
Sorry for bad English, Google translator:
I decided to contact You because of an official source http://help.sketchup.com/en/contact/pro-sales, there is no answer.
In Russia I know many comers who wanted to have the licensed program SketchUp PRO 2013 but do not buy because Russian language has no SketchUp PRO 2013.
Developers - Sellers SketchUp Pro probably not interested in the sales on the territory of the Russian Federation of Your SketchUp PRO.
You do not provide localization into Russian language, thereby treat with contempt the Russian Federation and population - users from Russia, it's such a bad policy SketchUp!So what can You say whether or not localized руссоязычная version of SketchUp 2013?!
Thank.

http://www.syssoft.ru/search/?q=sketchupAlso we have a Russian Forum here, http://sketchucation.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=53 if it is easier for you to communicate.
