Selecting just the outside face of the model
-
Please don't double post. I deleted your duplicate post.
What is your model of? And what are these internal faces? If you don't want them in the final product, don't put them in to begin with?
Have you tried the Outer Shell tool? It's native and should leave you with only the outside of faces.

I think it is not helpful to begin with "I am new to SU" and choose the advanced level in the profile.

I have zero experience with the FBX conversion ,but my experience with help in reducing model size and getting such large reduction by geometry is very difficult. It appears from your post that you know the inside geo is the problem. Is that the case?
Exporters have options; Have you checked those and see if it helps your problem.
In addition it maybe worth the effort of going to widows, model info., statistics and purge your model before the conversion. -

To select one by one is pain the neck......
Your solid model apparently has geometry inside, faces and maybe edges.
Solid in SketchUp means a watertight shell that is grouped. It has no geometry inside.Dave's suggestion to apply 'Outer Shell' (a Pro option) only works on combining two SU solids.
In your case I would apply a plugin, provided that it's already available.
Otherwise this might help a little bit, to do it manually.
- Group the entire object of which you need the outer shell.
- Enter this group
- Paint all its visible faces (orbit while doing so) to get the entire shell painted the same, say with material A.
- Open 'Paint Bucket' > 'In Model' > material A > choose 'Select'.
(You'll now have all faces (exclusive inside faces and inside edges!) selected.) - Copy selection to clipboard.
- Close the group.
- Immediately apply 'Paste', to paste the entire outer shell from clipboard to somewhere in modeling space.
Painting the outer shell, to prepaire copying may be quite faster than deleting the inside of your model.
p.s. selecting more than one material, adding their faces to a selection per material, is possible by applying [Ctrl] together with the 'Paint Bucket > Select' method.

Thank you everybody!
@Wo3Dan : Thank you for detailed explanation, in the end I did as you said, the model got reduced 700kb from 8mb. As same as the FBX get smaller from 150mb to 25mb.
@cotty: if you are offended I can change my SU level, for me everbody has something to learn in any level..
@dave: sorry about double posting, I mistakenly did it. Well, I need to reduce the face number because I am going to use house model @Unity with Gualcomm-Vuforia Augmented Reality tool. However, if the FBX model is big, the AR apps is not working efficiently. My main problem is this.Thank you all once again!

I don't believe cotty is offended. It's just that in your first post you say, "I am new in SU." but you list yourself as an advanced user. That is contradictory.

Yes, everyone can choose his level as one like. But it is more easy to answer a specific question if you know something about the background if the asker:
- If someone choose the advanced level (and it is not appropriate) and get an answer that doesn't cover the basics, he might not be satisfied by the answer.
- If someone choose the beginner level (and it is not appropriate) some basic might be described which he doesn't need for his solution and he gets bored.
Perhaps it would help to introduce more delicate levels?
The nice about SU is, that everybody at every level can learn something new every day ...

Reduction of model size by -8.75% results in a -83.3% in FBX size?? I would not expect a 1:1 reduction ,but IMHO this indicates something else is going on other than just a geometery issue. I would suggest this: Triangulate your model using TIGS tool http://sketchucation.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=20347 , try the export again and do not select any options. Suggest you make copy first and use that. If this first step does not help then remove all materials and repeat( looking for plugin for you http://www.smustard.com/script/RemoveMaterials)
BTW make sure all the faces in your model are set to face out.
Is it possible to post your model??
Just some thoughts -
