-
Hello everyone!
I closed by mistake the program without saving my work.I found the skb file and renamed it to skp.I opened it but is totally empty! Please help!My dead line is tomorrow !Thanks in advance! -
Sorry. That's unfortunate. I doubt you'll be able to get your model back, though.

Thank you for answering me.I have a copy of the original skb file. Is it possible to retrieve something from it?

You might be able to get something from it. I'd make a copy of it and rename that copy. What's the file size of it?
-
I just saw it is 0 bytes?
How is that possible? -
The SKB file is a version of the model prior to when you just saved the SKP the final time.
So if you had an empty SKP, then the previous time you saved it that's your backup copy - sorry...
The lesson is to save you work regularly and if appropriate have auto backup's running say every 15mins so you only 'loose' a limited amount of work when you balls-up.There are 'Archive' tools, or even 'Save_Copy_As...' in the File menu to keep regular copies as you go, useful when you loose work by a momentary aberration...

Because there's nothing in it.
