0.skp

I get this error box "O.skp was not found". Anyone have any idea what is going on. I remember sometime ago I had this error, however it just disappeared so I never did determine what was the problem.
Thanks in advance.

Ken, I believe it to be a file that is created when you have a crash. I just delete the critters!!

Hi Ken,
Do you get this on start up?
Or when working on particular files?
I used to get my plugins folder populated with 0.skp, 1.skp, 2.skp in the past. I think somewhere here TIG identified the problem.
It could be as Andrew says that something is creating a temp save. Can you check your plugins folder for any .skp?

To All
I get this error after working on a file for sometime. Not when I just open. There is no 0.skp files in my plugin folder, or any folder in the Google directories.
Thanks for the help.

If you are working on a remote disk on slow/stuttery network, or perhaps remotely on a flash-drive, when Sketchup does a save it first makes a 0.skp/skb file that it will rename/save_as later, then the earlier skp becomes the skb and the updated skp is made from the 0.skp/skb etc.
The then unneeded temp 0.skp/skb should then be removed.
BUT if the operation is faltered the 0.skp/skb is left behind [or not made as expected!].
If there's already a 0.sk/skbp you'll get a 1.skp/skb instead, and so on.
Generally these temp files are redundant and can be removed...Try copying a main skp onto your local disk when you are doing any intensive work on it [save it back to its parent folder when done], otherwise from time to time you can get these temp skp's appearing...

Well I made a mistake, it is the 0.skb file that has the error message.
However TIG I think you have the answer, I do use a USB drive to save my models, since I work at the house and on the road.
Maybe it will go away like it did the last time. I guess there is no clear cut answer, so I will live with the error.
So thanks all for your help.
