hi there, i'm trying to paste a component (in this case a triangle made of 3 cylinders) to a bunch of angled surfaces. you should be able to see what i'm talking about in the photo. i know there's a smart way to do this...

      thank you!

If the pasted component has appropriate axes and has a gluing behavior it will glue onto a face.
Alternatively, use LatticeMaker to add a 'frame/pane' to all selected facets?

i couldn't get your plugin to do what i wanted. and changing the axis of the component doesn't match the angle of the surface or glue it to the surface. maybe i'm not describing what i'm trying to do properly? i want to take that triangle component made of 3 cylinders and glue it to the underside of every face of the icosahedron.

Odd, this issue has been buzzing me... It looks like you have entities already in place, at the angles you want this new item to be, so I would try something along the lines of adding the new item to the other component definition as a sub component. If the 'angled surfaces' are not components make them so. Do it once, or twice, depending on how many angles... and you are done. My case required two, even though it looks like more.
