Invalid model

never seen it before (for 10 years):
-
So could you recreate the error message by repeating the steps (which would be needed for any kind of further investigation)?
-
Unfortunately I did not saved the problematic state as separate file.
I've made a group of a face contour the copied it upward and tried to extrude the edges within the group with TIG's old good 'extrude edges'.
Then after some freezing this pop-up of death appeared. -
I tried to replicate this without any success.
What exact dimensions were you using?
My EEby... tools are robust and work if the initial objects selected and subsequent input comply with the tool's needs etc, so I can't see what's going wrong.
Dis it occur during picking or during the latter stages - like reversing faces or exploding the extrusion-group ??
If you can't reproduce it then it's probably a one-off glitch within Sketchup itself... -
It's not the new message for avoid the Splatch screen ?

If you can't reproduce it then it's probably a one-off glitch within Sketchup itself...I used (and undoubtedly will) the oldie called 'extrudelinetool.rb' -one of my favorite tools. Never had problems for years- no complains. Originally I posted this pop-up in the 'Doh!' thread to show the message I've never seen before.
The cause for this glitch (at least I guess so) was some hidden triangular face when I tried to extrude the lines(I saw it after as unhidden in the autosave file). -
LOL, I had this error just a few days ago, the joke here is they ask you to report the steps leading up to this error.
Well if I had expected this error maybe I would of recorded the steps.
All I can say is this error message occurred after hours of editing a organic shaped building. Last step may have been to save the model? I work allot with solids subtraction and the outer shell tool. So I am sure just before saving I did a subtract operation.BTW, the best script ever made for solid modeling in SU is the Solid Inspector from TT!!!
This tool should of been in the tool set to begin with, or maybe in consequence they should of provided a detection and fix tool instead of just blunty rejecting solids and leaving one to such the model or object in question for tiny little mistakes. Also does anyone know how to actually contact Google support? ? ?

The reason they ask for the exact steps (especially if you can reproduce the error) is that this way they can identify the bug (if there is any) which causes it. There is actually a lot going on under the hood and only a few errors generate a popup like this.

If it's about the bug issue, here is the trouble shooter:

SketchUp isn't part of Google any more. They're now owned by Trimble.

This particular pop up window is completely useless! Just fix what you guys know is wrong and we'll all be good.
