Drop to surface HELP

Ok imagine these are trees, i need to drop them to the surface automaticly, they are all copies of the same componant but different scales, is there a plugin that does this or do i need to do it manually, im trying to do this with more relistic trees on a bigger scale, this is only an example of what im trying to do, please help

This worked but some trees were still left floating in mid air, cheers Rich im still happy with the results, will try the other plugins soon
