Drop to surface HELP

Ok imagine these are trees, i need to drop them to the surface automaticly, they are all copies of the same componant but different scales, is there a plugin that does this or do i need to do it manually, im trying to do this with more relistic trees on a bigger scale, this is only an example of what im trying to do, please help
