      Bonjour

Hello I have problems to export my model to cryengine3... It's a big model so when i export with play up its very long, and then a message says that time accorded to the application for this operation has expired, i click ok and then sketchup get closed...
So i tried to export it in smaller components , but its so big that it doesnt work better, a message says this engine cant export more than 65000 vertices, my (small) components has 170000 vertices, it may not be placed correctly... and well no export dont work it creates just 1 dae file, and 1 mtl file
But i t can work because i could export another small model of a crane that is not big, so i think its only a matter of size no ?
If someone can help me please it would be nice ! ^^

As you said, your model has 170,000 verts and 60,000 is the maximum. You need to break the model into multiple parts and make sure that they have the same origin -- component origin vs. model origin can cause problems for this.
Last thing about importing multiple parts is that you CAN now use multiple materials in each part, define them once in the CryEngine, and apply them to each new part you import. That saves a lot of time.

        Good luck.

          ok thanks !
i tryed with "export level" and it work when i export my model in 8 component, but now a lot of curved faces don't appear, and some walls and floors are visible on one side and invisible on the other side, and i can go trough it... for the floor i think its because its made in just 1 face, no volume, but for the rest i dont know...
          any idee ??^^
by the way, most of the textures dont appear in the cryengine

Have you viewed your model [SKP] in Monochrome mode with a Style using a very contrasting colored back-face-material?
I suspect that some of your faces are oriented 'backwards' !
Select a face and right-click 'Reverse' - or try 'Orient' [having preselected a 'good' face].
There are tools to fix it too...
