Any tricks on creating a vignetted view? I saw a style in SU that does it, but when I use that in the view's style, I couldn't figure out a way to have it completely faded by the time it got to the edges of the view window, so it cut off suddenly.

This is not my signature. I type it at the end of every message for quality control.

This is more of a Style than Layout question...
All a vignette-style does is apply an image over the whole view which has a clear center and edges gradually becoming white [or any color used].
You simply make a transparent png in Gimp or Photoshop with whatever gradation/colors etc you want and use that as the Watermark - with suitable setting in the appropriate Style edit pane...
Some Fog attached to the Scene-tab can also fade the image into the distance...

Excellent. Thanks for the tips. Will look into watermarking.

here is an inspiring example on YT for how fog is used for fading:

have a look at minute 4:28.
