Can anyone suggest a website where I can get nice composition ideas for black and white work, layouts for books? Moreover I also need some ideas for presentation for black and white sketchup models . [no render, default sketchup graphics].Actually I’m working on a book on house designs so would like to get ideas for visual layouts for the same, captions, blow-ups etc.

      Sketchup Make 2017 (64-bit), Vray 4.0 , Windows 10 – 64 bit, corei7-8750H, 16GB RAM, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050Ti 4GB

I would look at "Bmike" 's work shown on the forums.

Also Mike Lucey and some others have posted examples of house models where, at the most, only one accent color is used. It's especially fitting for SketchUp styles. To find those, however I would not know, but Mike would--and other mods might be able to think up a link.

Also if you look at the Dennis Technique (uses photoshop)-- examples of that often use desaturated colors and can work well in grayscale.

Some of my work, mainly timber framing.

I have a few house designs too, but I can't share those (yet, hopefully).
I do a similar process to the small building I show, but use some shadowing where appropriate, as well as a thicker sketch line, in B/W.

These were beautiful color before they were b/w. Allan's artistry shows in the quality of the values.
