D'oh! Lost the tutorial on making grass with fur tool..

Not covering myself in glory, I have used the fur genereating plug-in in the past to make very effective grass - but I've forgotten how I did it! Tsk!
I know that there was a tutorial on the site somewhere showing how it was done - I've tried searching but couldn't find it and inputting the word "fur" in the seach box gave no results for some reason...
So - if anyone could point me and my poor (old) memory in the right direction I'd be really grateful
