      Hi all.
I'm using Sketchup (free 8 version) on my iMac, wich is running OS Lion.
Suddendly, and depending on some plugins it crash...This bothers me, but worse comes next:
From time to time, the programm (I think so) clean the files, leaving only a TX file containing only *jpeg files as textures. No more.
Unfortunately, the time spent in some projects was unrecoverable except for the JPG placed into Picasa, Flickr, Facebook and so one.
Anybody has experienced a problem like the mine?
I've tried to save the files into another directory and the problem still clean...
      Can you help me?

I've never seen that before. I don't think SketchUp is capable of "cleaning" files. The TX file sounds like a file generated by an exporter for a rendering application or by the rendering application. I would try uninstalling the plugins you've loaded and see what happens. I have quite a number of plugins on my Mac and SketchUp is extremely stable.

          Thanks por a fast reply...
Firstly, I thought that Kerkythea was the "guilty", but some of the files haven't been exported. And the Tx is a repertory where I can found all the "textures", no more.
          Really it's a nightmare.
Could be an "automatic purgue" from Sketchup, Kerkythea or (even) from Mac?,
          Thanks

Kerkythea does generate the TX directory for the materials but I don't see how either SketchUp or Kerkythea could purge the SKP files from your computer. I think you must have something else going on.

Kerkythea or SU2KT does not purge anything, not even TX_ -directory. So something else must be going on.

Do you have some OS settings to purge old backup files etc that is somehow mis-set and thereby erasing things you want to keep ?
