Did you notice the back end of the moose at 2:48 in that video?

Oh yes. Always good for a chuckle or two. A nice bit of Blake Edwards' subtle wit.
BTW . . .I could probably do this in Sketchup. Professor Fate's Noise Seeking torpedo. My son and I did this years ago for his first cub scout pinewood derby car. great little conversation piece. It lost in the race. .but won first place in Design.

I've just started a new website & forum, dedicated to the cars and characters from the movie.
If you do get it out, I'd love to see some photos of it posted there.

Richard,
Nice website. I do have some interesting stuff about the movie I came across when researching the Hannibal 8, I'll try to post some of it to your site.

Great, thanks Steve. I was going to ask your permission to repost some of your material from here

Feel free to repost any of my stuff. This great movie needs a dedicated site.

I'd already prepared this page

Hey, is this model still available?
-
It never was 'available'.
-
Can I purchase it?
-
I am a new user here, sorry for the newbie questions. But I would appreciate if someone could explain how can I get this model. Thanks!
-
The only way you can 'get it' is to make it yourself. A good tool for learning.
-
It's not published, buy you could try contacting its author and offer to buy it ?
See the first post in the thread... -
I may be wrong but this poster comes across as someone who wants to acquire items to sell.
Colour me cynical if you like but it comes across that way.

That is not the case Mike. This has nothing to do with business for me, I make my living very well in unrelated areas. I have been a huge fan of this movie for years, and I want to do a 3-d printed model of this vehicle for my son. Unfortunately, my 3-D modeling skills are not at a level that allows that. I stumbled across this post and was wondering if there is a way to buy it for my own personal use. If this is offending to the forum or not allowed, just let me know. Thanks. I also tried to contact the author but didn't find a way to do it, so if anyone knows him, I would appreciate passing the question.

This is a killer modeling... Jawdropping job!

I am always so delighted when this thread appears!
With this machine, I would immediately set off on my next holiday trip, even though I would still have to practise that diabolical laughter!
In the event of a traffic jam on the Autobahn, EVERYONE would immediately form an emergency lane out of sheer awe for this thing!!! -
@hellnbak - could you contact me please? I do not seem to have a way to directly contact you. Thank you!
-
@jaime_s Sorry, but I made the decision early on to not sell any of my models. That would make it seem more like work rather than something I do because I enjoy it.
