Hello my name is Dylan and am new to this. Sketchup I have is on a Dell Inspiron 17. I'm having trouble with making multiple copies by typing ( *10 or x10 ). That's what I saw on videos and tutorials. What am I doing wrong ?? 💭 💭

      Hi Dylan,

Please, list all the steps you are doing when you cannot move/copy arrays.

Just a stab in the dark but after you move the the first copy to the desired distance, hit Enter. Then type *10 and hit Enter again.

Oh for sure, that would be it. People do that all the time in my classes.

If you have ill-advisedly set 'X' OR '*' as a shortcut then typing x10 or *10 will jump out of the copying and go to the X-tool or *-tool.
The alternative is therefore to type 10x because if its at the end the X is still taken as part of the array command...
Of course after the first copy is made, then you must press <enter> after typing the number+x otherwise how is the tool to know when you have finished typing...
