Probably you just didn't insert correct values.

See attached image, everything works fine- if this is what you want to achieve.

Btw, it's always better to attach an images which show the strange, weird, unwanted, mystic results πŸ˜‰

          You're welcome..

It's always good to give an example of what you want to achieve, would have saved at least 2 minutes of my time πŸ˜‰

          So,

          • forget greeble in this case
          • draw a rectangle in the size you want your brick / tile to be
          • select rectange > make component
          • copy as often you need to brick to be copied (use move, enter distance, type x(number))
          • change appearance acc. to your liking (offset, pushpull, bevel, paint)
(-edit- components are instances, so if you doubleclick one and edit it, all others will be edited simultaneously)

          done.

Maybe have a look at hot to use components at all and some basic SU tutorials- this will clear out many questions.
Good work so far, you should have stumbled over components on your way, probably you didn't.

You could have drawn a very small section of it and made a linear array to build the rest. It would be done much like the grille in this image.

I don't remember where that brick texture came from. It might be one included with SketchUp.

Perhaps you would find it useful to read the Help files about the Move tool. That's where you'll learn about making arrays.

Try the Help files first. It's amazing what you'll find there.

I could only get shadows darker a bit in PP. Do you mean that you would like to renderit darker?

It depends on the render engine you use.

Give as much as precise information as possible and you will be helped πŸ˜‰

                                Probably it's the color mapping.

i have this new idea ... i would like to film my project, lets say a house , and make some kind of orbit around house that will be the guide for camera , and make some sort of .gif file , and present my house in that manner ... if you understand ... is there any program for that ? thank you

At least i cannot help you with your question before as it would be just a shot in the dark as long as i don't know your render engine.

                                    --

For your actual question- sure, there are programs and solutions for almost everything out there.
I'm not much using animation rendering in SU.
There are some free and some commercial plugins which aid you creating animations in SU and therefor render them after.
Just search the plugins index, you'll find a lot.

You can even use the native SU pages to get a nice animation if you set some scenes and turn the scene delay down to 0.

I don't know if it's possible to set a camera target in SU.
You can set a camera to follow a path and there is also a way to make a turntable animation, which could fit your need as well.

For creating an animated gif just search google, there are many.
If you have photoshop, use this.

You can think about creating a thread of how to create your animation, but please make sure you clearly point out what shall be the goal
and use the search function before- as this probably has been treated here in the forums before. πŸ˜‰
And try to use a clear discription title (eg. "Turntable Animation" or whatever).

                                    still sketchin'

Open the Model info window (Window menu) and the first tab is animation settings. Crank up the scene transitions settings to something higher to make it slower and set scene delay to 0 second so that it won't stop when it gets to the scene.
