Rendering modes trouble: LO gone mad!
-
look at this:
I am sending a file to LO but I can only see the edges if I keep it in raster mode. in hybrid mode it loses all edges, and in vector mode the whole thing disappears and the model is blown out of proportion so that the wood texture fills the viewport entirelly. any ideas on how to solve this? before you suggest it: yes, I have updated styles and made sure edges are on. -
Could you attach the LO file, too, Edson?

there you go, csaba. by now it is a small file. the problem appeared immediately as I started to work on it.

Edson, your model is some 1300+ metres from the SU origin. If you move it to the origin, it renders correctly in LO. You will certainly need to update your scenes if you move it.
Did you import any cad file to start with? If yes, did you make sure not to keep the origin in the import options? -

thanks once again for your precious help. yes, this file began long time ago with the import of a dwg survey file. it also explains why I was getting severe problems of disappearing parts of the model when I got close to it.

Glad it's an easy fix. I know what it is like when I keep banging my head as I cannot see the obvious - best is that someone else has a look, too.
I always keep the axes on so it was immediately different for me that I could not see them first and when turned on, they were very far.
