I see the utilities folder with utilitiestools.rb in it, and all Windows:Extensions are enabled including Ruby Script Examples, but the Tools:Utilities item doesn't show up on the menu.

I liked the Query tool for finding coordinates.

    Thx

      Hi,

you should have both ../plugins/utilities.rb and ../plugins/Utilities/utilitiestools.rb

if you have both it should work, unless the extension needs modifying because of recent changes,

could try to download a fresher version, maybe...

        I have a ../plugins/utilities.rbx and ../plugins/Utilities/utilitiestools.rb.

Aren't extensions.rbz files? Is the .rbx an old file?

Any ideas where to download both?

        Thx

          Kupono 😲

There is NO .rbx file [unless you have renamed one]... 😕
Rename that .rbx file as .rb !!!!
Restart Sketchup and it should work OK...

A .rbz file is a special format introduced with v8M2 which is in effect a 'zip' file containing a set of files and subfolders.
There are only a handful of these archives available so far... and they install thus...
You install them from the v8M2-Pro, Preferences > Extensions 'install archive' button then the .rbz is 'unzipped' and the files/subfolders are put into the right place inside Plugins automatically for you... These tools don't necessarily need to be an 'Extension' - although most are... 😉

There it is. No idea how it got changed to .rbx. Changed it back to .rb and it works fine.

            Thanks
