        You DON'T!

        Use PaintShp/PhotoShop/Gimp/etc...
Then you can Import the Image into your SKP [as a PNG file, probably with a transparent background depending on how you intend to use it]...
        Horses for course...

This is the easiest way for flat 2d-text...
Why try to do something in a SKP that's difficult... when you can do it easily in another app and import the result πŸ˜’

However, IF you REALLY want to make bent 3d-text, then I suggest you make some 3d-text and use the ShapeBender plugin tool with a line/arc to bend its grouped letters around the curve... but they will distort a bit... and you'll need to 'paint' them etc etc... πŸ˜•

Thank you. Shape bender tool is working for what I needed.

More info on the shape bender can be found here

If you do actually need fancy text effects like this in geometry, rather than as an imported images, then the best way of doing it would probably be to use CorelDraw or Illustrator, convert that text into segmented curves, then import into SU via dwg format. Shape Bender will work...but only up to a point.

            Corel/Illustrator tutorial here.
