100 sum of diffuse, transp and reflection?

In Su podium there’s a thumb rule. That the sum percentage of diffuse, reflection and transparence of a material should not exceed 100. In vray, is there any such thumb rule? I”m new to vray and often get unexpected results because i don’t know of any such 100% balance thing. My vray version is 1.49.01

In V-Ray you do not have to do this. It takes care of it for you.

Hmm.. i haven’t seen values auto adjusting themselves as they do in podium when the sliders slide automatically.
do the layers auto adjust too? -
The values are normalized internally. It's something you don't need to worry about.
