I'm rendering an exterior building with a lot of glass. I'd like to add a bump map to the glass so that the reflections will be slightly distorted. When I apply the map to my windows it tiles uniformly from one window pane to the next which is a bit unrealistic. Each pane of glass should have it's own unique distortion.

So what I'd like to do is automatically move the texture on each pane of glass by some random amount. I could do it manually, but if there's a way through a plugin or something to do it automatically it'd speed the process up a lot.

TIG's Texture Tools, but each pane will still need to be selected then transformed. It's faster than the native method though as you just input rotation angles or distance

perfect massimo, that's exactly what I needed.

Thanks to you as well Rich. I'd seen that plugin but never used it. I think it might be helpful as well.

TIG Texture Tools πŸ‘ πŸ‘ You owe it to yourself to get that one Brodie. Saves a ton of time. Especially for tweaking wood grains.
