Hello, I have a component in SU8 that is not hidden but I can't see it. In the outliner the component has four solid blue boxes next to it vs the four black boxes of items that I can see. Any tip on how to make this visible again?

When I select the component the Hide is darkend, If I select it the bounding box dissapears, and the text in the outliner fades, when I select Unhide, the bounding box reappears, but the item is still not visible. If I select View/Hidden geometry then it comes back.

      Thanks,

It sounds like the entities inside the component have been hidden. Open the component for editing and select the stuff inside from the outliner. Right click and choose Unhide. Or, with the component open for editing, click on Edit>Unhide>All.

Have you tried Model Info > Statistics > Fix Problems... ?
Do have some layers switched off ?
Is the component or its contents on one of those 'off' layers ??
Switch the 'off' layers 'on' and report back...

Thanks, I thought I had tried unhide all, but I guess I didn't. It still seems strange that I couldn't right click the component in the outliner and unhide it there. It showed as not hidden. Looks like the blue squares means that the item is hidden then?

            Thanks

If you have a nested component, it is possible to hide the contents without hiding the component. In the Outliner, then, you would need to select the names of the contents to unhide them instead of the top level component.

Unhide>All wouldn't work on stuff inside a component/group if the component/group isn't opened for editing.
