I don't get it. What's the differences between Rotate>90Β° CW and the existing Rotate>270Β°? There's already flip commands, too. Just think Vertical for Up/Down and Horizontal for Left/Right.

Exactly! Simple flips and rotates are easy using the built in tools...
If you want to rotate your texture by 2.5 degrees or shunt it over 12mm then TextureTools can help then... -

You can enter U and V [x/y] scaling factors in a dialog or use the alternative tool and use the up/down or right/left arrows to step their scale by a factor... +shift for x10...... -
First... I'm not 100% familiar with all the plugins that are available I'll look for TextureTools.
Without any type of plugin... the only way that I know how to rotate a texture 90* would be
Right click on a plane - Texture - Position - the grab the green circle and rotate the texture, then align it until it snaps into the correct scale. It's not complicated, but if you have to do it for a few objects... it becomes tiresome. I wanted a 1 click solution

Well, this isn't a single click option but it you right click on a texture, you can choose Texture>Position. Then right click again and choose to rotate 90, 180 or 270Β° or flip the texture. If you uncheck Fixed Pins, you can then move the pins independently to tweak the texture's dimensions/shape.
And if you have several different faces to do, adjust the texture on one and then use that texture to sample from when applying the material to the other faces.
All native tools. No plugins required. Use TIG's plugin for the rest.

With. Without: delete the geometry, materials, layers, etc., in the model whose scenes you want to use. Save as... with a new name so you don't lose the original model. Open the other model. Select all, Copy. go to the Scenes file. Edit>Paste in Place.
