Employment postings

Where is the best place to list potential employment opportunities for people who know SketchUp?
-
right here?
-
I guess what I meant was "When you are looking for employment involving SketchUp, what places do you look at"
I seem to remember that SUC used to have an employment forum, but dropped it. But I could be wrong.
I am not just looking for a good place to find SUC members, but a good place to find all SketchUp users who may be interested.
When I am ready - I will post it here, if that is allowed - but I would like to find other places too.

I think this is the official place to inquire on Sketchucation: http://sketchucation.com/services.htm
-
That looks like the "official place" to get the SketchUcation owners to do work for you.

As you can see from Mike's original thread this is an open invite...

When I click on that link I get this message:

You are not authorised to read this forum.

Hehe. It seems Mike (or someone else?) has quarantined that topic.

I used to be able to read that - even yesterday when I checked after the 'complaint'... now I am not authorized either, and I'm a 'mod'??

I don't know what he is moving where all the time. Anyway, he'll probably come up with something else soon.

I just noticed this link from a link on the SketchUp Sage Site:
But I don't think it has any jobs posted. (I searched for jobs mentioning SketchUp and didn't find any)
I suppose I could post it on the ShareYourSketch site as well. But the point of this thread was to see what sites SketchUp people actually use for looking for employment. Not just random places where I could post a job offering.
I see there is a Google Groups SketchUp Jobs site as well.

One piece of advice for the author of the SketchUp Job Board.
If you want a new concept like this to work, you should make it free for the first year or so, and then try charging for it later.
Google Checkout - who we use for on-line sales - made the service completely free for the first full year (We did not have to pay the credit card fees). But after using it a year, we, and I suspect most users, continued to use it.
However, I see that the site is posted by JobCoin, If that is a third party - then offering it for free may not be possible.
-
That Job board seems to be somehow related to Jim's plugins site.
The Job GGroups is originally the old job board of the @Last forums. When it was migrated to GGroups, that part was "chopped off" and started a separate life.
-
The Jobs listing on Jim's SketchUp blog seems to continue to be unused.
Does SketchUCation have a place to list employment opportunities?
Or is there someplace else in the SketchUp community?

You seem to have found it already: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/sketchup-pro-jobs/uU1dzuV6o88

Yes - thanks - but it might be more useful to post things here on SketchUcation. People who do not know about the Google Groups page may never see it.

We used to have a job posting subforum but in reality, it turned out to be more of a spam hive and people fighting with each other, blatantly bumping their postings more than a really useful info panel.
If someone wants promotion, can organize something here now.
