      Hi guys,
I need to use a 3D Text tool but with custom font, and Sketchup won't load them. What to do? I've installed OpenFont types but still nothing.. Help! 😞

Can you access the font through your word processing software?

I am on XP and have installed only one font type in my life but at least I can access it from SU (and OpenOffice, too - good tip, Dave, if Word or similar cannot access it, there1s a problem with the font installation, not SU).

Word can use several font 'types'.

A font needs to be a TrueType Font [.ttf] to be usable in 3dText.
OpenType Fonts [.otf] just won't work!

What the the font in question ?
Is there a ttf version available ?
