I was just wondering, over my lunch break, whether it was possible to start with an avatar from 2nd Life etc...complete with over sized female appendages, 12" waist and garish clothing...and end up with something that would pass muster as a very low poly photofigure for street scenes etc. Apparently it is. This was generated by Numedia Avatar Studio (free) then the compacted wrl file was passed through Seamless3D (also free) which is able to rearrange the wrl and export it as an obj. It was finally tweaked in SU with a load of vertex shunting.
I purposely stayed clear of all my pro UV mapping software, because I figured that anyone desperate enough to do all this was probably too miserly to have invested any. ๐Ÿ˜‰
This was all done in SU itself using the existing UV Tools and UV Toolbox to reposition the mapping after editing the mesh. I also used a paint program to edit some of the lividly coloured clothing.
You can't get too close (the face is too big for one thing) but it's not bad from a distance.

A freind of mine would call her a Kronenberg.

That's a "Two-bagger". 2nd bag just in case she breaks the 1st bag on her face. ๐Ÿคฃ
