Woody3d

Does anybody have any experience with this application? Is this something that could be imported to Sketchup or some render engines, for example TheaRender?

Nice find, thanks. I´ve got a Woody

It looks like currently you can save only the Woody3D binary format and they´re planning on allowing .OBJ export in the future. -
I couldn't find that info. Thanks NT

You´re welcome - it´s on their forums BTW. Where is your avatar, Rich?
Edit: it´s allright now, I can see it.

Very interesting. Thanks for the link.

This has me a little concerned.

Yes it doesnt export to any other format yet so buying it now would only be to get it while it's $99.95 instead of $149 after march 5 or whenever it was he was going to raise the prize again. I think the trees look good but I'm a bit concerned with the workflow of painting leaves which didnt seem intuitive at first try. Will think about it...

That info seems to indicate that this software isn't for the layman. It's not going to integrate with anything else without custom programming.

I was actually trying to find their development roadmap when I stumbled on this.
It looks like cool software, and I was interested if they had exporters in the plan.
This kind of puts the breaks on for me.
But I still have the "Fur" plugin.
