Is there a ruby to find center point of selected arc? I know there is center point of circle and Chris's center point of explode arc by select two segnments but I want something that does not require exploding the arc or tracing segments.

And if you just need this single tool,
There is the simple to use Jim's plugin Arc Centerpoint
Select your curve, right clic, arc centerpoint.

If the arc is one item, select it, right click fly out menu has Point at Center and will place a cpoint at the center of the arc.

I take the slow, deliberate approach in my aimless wandering.

This depends on having the "Ruby Script Example" Extension enabled, which also turns on some other menus I didn't want. I write my version before I realized this. 😄

(Link was broke now fixed - thanks Simon.)

            Hi

yeah, that's the best one nowadays (imo)..
it deals with all the different variations (arcs, circles, exploded, etc) + other cpoint tools all in one package.
              👍
