The last time I had a white Christmas in Alabama I was a teenager. Who else is celebrating a white Christmas?

Christmas Eve Sunset... snow is coming.

For the last couple of days, we've had some 15 centigrade (~ 60 Fahrenheit?) warm here so that little snow we had has melted already. Currently there is a rain however. Not a nice Christmas but every now and then we have white Christmas.

It's White here. In fact temp hasn't gotten above -3 in about two weeks. Still no water. Spent morning in attic with hair dryer!
Still I won't complain as my son is having great craic with his new toys and dinner is minutes away.

White here for sure. Usually is, though. We had about 6 inches here on Thursday night and Friday to add to the about 24 we already had on the ground.

Eric, do you have an ice scraper for your car?

I'm certainly having a white christmas, we've had several metres over the last week or so.
The only way out of my house at the moment would be through the second floor windows with skis.
Not much point in doing that anyway because I can't see where my van is parked, it's somewhere between the garages but the snow has made them disappear too.

snowdrift taken today, 25 of december in the top end of my place ๐Ÿ˜„

(One week ago, I have broken my car in a "curling party" during a snowstorm as I was passing through a difficult suburb in the way to go home. Nice young people had help me to push my car in a temporary parking place, but one of them had stolen my phone: nine PM under night, cold and snow . I had slept in the gymnasium of the town alone and completely fridge. It wasn't my night ๐Ÿ˜† )

A lot of snow here, something like 60-70 cm . Picture taken on Monday morning - 20 cm more promised for tomorrow. Southern Finland has the most snow in the country, more than in many parts of Lapland. It's quite exceptional, usually at about 50% of Christmases we don't have any snow at all. This year winter came in early November.

It's rather cold too, below -20 degrees Celsius at nights

We are. There's about 70 cm of snow on the garden table. My son's loving it.

We did. The first white Christmas in Charlotte since '47!!!
Got about 3 1/2-4 inches but it's still falling. Started Christmas night and supposed to go through today.

Aha, based on that video, I can use Google Earth to find your apartment, triangulate the exact position of where your apartment is, and come toilet paper that tree out front......excellent.

You're getting it too in NYC? We're taking a hit here in Boston as well. I can hear the wind blowing snow against the windows like sand. A good day to be home!

It does sound like you're getting some bad stuff. I hope it doesn't cause to much trouble.

Forecast for here for later this week is rain, freezing rain and daytime temps in the 40s. After a couple of days of that, back into the deep freeze. Should be really nice with all that ice on the roads. ๐Ÿ˜’
