Mate I didn't know what I was going to see when opening this thread!

"Blue Balls" obviously doesn't have the same meaning as here is OZ!

As soon as SketchUp Artists posts the tutorial I will paste a link. And thanks Rich.

that is really terrific Eric. Because of renders like this and seeing what wizards like you were doing in Boulder with it (Pete et al) , I am getting Thea render for Christmas. 😍

side note. . .isn't it interesting how many hits a thread will get if it has the word B*lls in it! πŸ’š

If I make it look easy...It is probably easy

Eric, so well done as always πŸ˜„ I really need to jump into Thea Render and start having some fun. At the moment I'm designing some Polynesian themed kiosks and the Fur plugin is doing such a nice job in creating thatch, I'm really loving that plugin πŸ˜„

Eric, I had a break from project today, so rendered a quick one too, keeping on topic of balls.

May I ask a serious question? Why would one model his bal-, er, ornaments so large. Seriously though. I would like to know what is the advantage to having larger-than-life models. Would someone please enlighten me. πŸŽ‰

Actually I did draw mine over 3 feet in diameter. I wanted to have a real smooth mesh and when you draw small objects sometimes SketchUp cannot fill in the polygons. Sometimes it is better to model large then scale it down, sometimes.
