Non 3d Text
-
Hi,
I want to draw a schematic electrical plan. I need to insert in a drawing a text.
How do I write a 2D text?
Thanks for your help

Use the 3d text tool with height set to zero. Or there's TIG's 2D tools that has a text tool with extra features.

You can use 3D Text and untick Extruded. then it will come in flat.
Keep in mind that adding text that way will quickly inflate the entity count and cause file size increase which might affect your computer's performance. Additionally, the text will be raster image if you export as a JPG or other image format. If the text is small, it may be difficult to read. In that case you might find it better to import the image to another aplpication and add the text there. The app could be a word processor or LayOut or ?

I knew I was wrong with height value. But you can set it to 0, can't you? On iPhone watching the tyrant pick out shoes

Yes, you can set it to zero and it'll work.
