Sand Box and Road Curbs

Im a trying to add curbs on a roadway. is there a way that i can basically drop my road 6" so there will be a hard corner for a curb?

There probably is but without some picture for reference it's hard to suggest the best method. Does the road slope?

This is the road. I want to drop it 6" consistently on the model but follow the slopes

Note that your roads must be properly draped first (i.e. you will need to be able to separately select the road surface). Also, with a difficult mesh, the operation may take a while so be patient. -
one method I have used for this is to copy the whole terrain down by the height of your curb then to create a block from the extrusion of your roads and intersect it with the whole model. after that clean up the model and you will have curbs and roads at a lower level than sidewalks. there is some work involved in it but it works.
