      Hi,

I use vray for sketchup 1.48 and I have some simple questions.
In the manual for 1.48 on page 9 there are some information about anti-aliasing and adaptive subdivisions and object outline. It this something I can increase to improve the quality of the render or is this done somewhere else in the options?

I also wonder about rendering. If I want the same distance to my object that I see on the screen in the render window, how do I change that? I hope you understand what I mean. The object is "pushed" away a little bit like with digital cameras. And when I save I also get an alpha channel image? Why? Stop this?

      Thanks!

I've not seen the manual for 1.48, but is it more or less the same as described here: http://www.spot3d.com/vray/help/150SP1/examples_image_sampler.htm ?

        I don't understand. πŸ˜• Got screenshots?

Deselect the Alpha channel under the VFB section.

(btw - exactly what 1.48 version are you using?)

Probably under the output tab on vray option menu you tick "get view aspect", it will make the render image the same as your screen view

about alpha, it actually will help you, when you need to change your background on exterior render (ONLY IF YOU KNEW PHOTOSHOP or other editing image software) but if its on studio setting (ussually for product or furniture render) you can use thom's revise to disable this option, or perhaps tick other facilities to gain more fun πŸ˜† to understand about it, you can check this address: http://www.spot3d.com/vray/help/150SP1/render_elements.htm

          regards,

          still so much to learn..
