      Hi

      I'm at creating some illustations where I need some hatches on some faces.

      Does anyone know if there is a Ruby plugin that can help me ?

      The function could be - select face > hatch in content menu > axe > specific distance / random distance > layer ?

      Thanks 😄

          Why not just use textures?

            @thomthom
            sorry, I did't mention that it has to be affected by the seleced style... but I could give it a go with texture

              My 2Dhatch Tool applies a material that is made using a selection from a folder of 'tiling' jpg images [customizable content] as textures based on the standard ACAD hatch.pats...
              So in essence it's basically a collection of hatch-pattern images that you could use yourself in any material BUT which it uses to make the material etc for you automatically... 🤓

                Hi TIG

                Thanks for your input.

                As i wrote, I was looking for a script that could split a face so it became a part of the model as lines, so they could have the same style as other lines in the drawing. I hoped that protrude would help me - but I can't get it to work 😞

                I have added an image that shows the result - I have to add the lines manuel.
