Baby- kid- adult chair: Stokke Tripp Trapp
-
I will say this again: my favourite chair!!
I used this chair when I was a baby and I still use it as a perch, 23 years later!!! It's in perfect condition, looks brand new.
Obviously the seat is a few pegs further down now.

Thanks so much for sharing. good taste!!

Nice model.
My kids will love it. -
wow...thanx for sharing it..

How are the seat and footrest secured in the channels? I suspect that the panels are rabbeted where they "lock" into the side rails? We bypassed this fine piece by using some molded polyethylene or polypropylene chair from Playskool or somebody.

 -
The seat and footrest are essentially clamped between the two uprights. There are socket-headed screws in the sides that thread into the black rods. To change the position of the horizontal parts, you loosen the screws on one side slightly. I was skeptical at first but the chair has been extremely rigid and it has never loosened on its own. I can even sit in it without worry if I remove the small seat and move the footrest up so it becomes the seat.
 -
Now I can imagine you sitting there and being fed and with food spread all over the seat.

 -
When I eat, I have to put the chair on a big piece of plastic sheet to keep from spilling food on the floor.

 -
thank you for sharing, the model is superb and inspiring.

Thanks for the nice comments.
I haven't been drawing lately due to a lack of time and energy (my youngest doughter is keeping me up at night ... again) but this gives me the courage to get back behind my computer...
Just what I needed

old thread....but this reminds me so much of my childhood.
We've sent the tripp trapp away to be reconditioned, it's almost 30 years old and still rigid. -
Gracias... excelente modelo
